2. Curd/ Yogurt

Another important food, which can also become an ingredient for many recipes all over India, is Curd (popularly known as Dahi, Doi, or yogurt). Curd is a dairy product obtained from milk. It is eaten in various forms in various parts of India.

4. Cucumber:

Cucumber or Kheera or Sasa is a part of the gourd family. The cylindrical fruit is used as a culinary vegetable and also as a fruit. It has 95% water and 16 calories. Since it contains very low calories, it is extensively consumed for dieting purposes. During the summer season. It is a body-cooling food eaten by many people during the hot summer season.
